Finally Better

Yay! I am finally NOT sick. I haven't had a fever since Saturday. You guys wouldn't believe how much stuff I had to cancel because of being sick. For those of you who didn't know, I was sick with Bronchitis, a double ear infection (ok, I still have that), and a sinus infection. Luckily though, all of that stuff is gone (except for the ear infection). My ear doesn't hurt, it just is extremely stopped up and has a TON of fluid and other nasty stuff in it (I won't go into detail). Luckily though, today my left ear popped (which means I can hear out of it again).

Since about last Thursday though, I could barely hear at all! I felt like an old lady, because everyone would almost have to yell for me to hear them. If you stuck me in a bathtub for about 4 hours I could have probably passed for one! (wait, for about three days in a row I was in for about 4 hours!

Anyway, back to the point here......all I have now is a cough and my right ear is still clogged up. I will finish up a Z pack tonight, and then I will be done with medicine. I was taking this disgusting, bitter cherry flavored medicine for my cough, but now that my cough isn't bad anymore....I don't have to take it! (and thank goodness too, that stuff made me cringe when I'd take it).

Well, I'd better rap this post up, because I am working on math (it's 8:47pm as I type this) and I am hosting a Christmas party at our house tomorrow...it will be 10 girls including me.

What I Am Sick With...

Hi everyone. I still haven't recovered from being sick, yet. Today my mom took me to the doctor, and he said that I have a double ear infection, Sinus infection, and Bronchitis. He said that my left ear is worse than my right one, and that I have the worst ear infection he has seen in MONTHS.

I'm Sick...

So I haven't been blogging because I have been sick since Wednesday. I have had bad headaches, a horse voice, drainage, a horrible cough, a stuffy head/ear, dizziness, a VERY sore throat, I've been getting beyond sweaty at night, and I've had fevers ranging from 99.5 to almost 103. I could barely talk this morning. Today though, my mom called a surgeon/doctor we know very well, she described my symptoms, and he told her to give me Motrin and to keep me drinking fluids. Luckily, he said that the symptoms didn't at all sound like strep (which we weren't sure if I could have or not), and that all I had was a virus. I was glad that I wouldn't have had to be taken into a doctor's office, because if I was, all they would do is a rapid strep test...the word 'doctor' to me is the "D" word. ;0)

My family has been very nice helping out while I have been sick too. Mom let me choose my lunch yesterday and today, I get to drink 2 gatorades each day (I can only drink them at my home school group), my brother cleaned my hamster's cage (it was FREEZING outside too!), Mom volunteered to dust and vacuum my room, AND help me put the sheets on my bed. Aren't I just spoiled? LOL! ;-D

Today has been the best day I have had sickness wise. Thursday and Wednesday though....let's just say they were AWFUL.

Whenever you think about it, please, please, please pray for me!!!

Christmas is on it's Way!!!

Hi Friends! Can you believe it's already the Christmas season? Time sure does FLY BY. This is probably my favorite season of all. I guess I just love the atmosphere of everything - the streets, houses, yards....all of the lights. I love it. One thing that annoys me though, is that people are always saying Christmas is about 'presents' and 'family' and all of that junk stuff; when really it's about this:

8And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. 11Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ[a] the Lord. 12This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

That's why each Christmas my fam and I always try to remember what Christmas really is about, even though it sometimes can be hard to think of what Christmas really means.

We had a great time at my grandparents' house the past few days! We traveled Wednesday evening to SC, and didn't get there until about 11:00pm...we were pretty tired once we got to their house.
Thursday, we had a great Thanksgiving! This year it was only my grandparents, my great grandmother, and my fam (except for Seung Gi. He spent Thanksgiving in NY w/his sister and we won't pick him up at the airport until Monday night)

Friday, I had a portfolio of pictures made! My mom and I went to a very small town in SC called 'Ninety Six' and went to a very pretty and grassy area. (I will try to link you to the lady's facebook so you can see the pics she took of me).

Today, we traveled home and have been decorating for Christmas (yay!). I will have pics of it hopefully tomorrow. I have to rap this post up because I have to get ready for bed (it's 10:41 in NC).
